With the MY700 jet printer, Mycronic has launched a machine that combines many of the features customers have been asking for.
The jet system can be used to print solder paste as well as apply adhesive. The MY700’s jet printer or jet dispenser is incredibly fast and accurate. It can be used to produce complex assemblies at a rate of over one million dots per hour. The MY700 can work with flexible substrates, compensate for board cavities and easily apply solder paste and adhesive in a single system. Thanks to the contactless application technology, the solder paste is always applied perfectly with high precision, eliminating the need for rework and reducing cycle time. This increases overall throughput. Applying the adhesive in the same process step eliminates the need for an additional piece of process equipment. The electronics manufacturer can choose between a dedicated jet printer, a dedicated jet dispenser or a combination of both media application systems.
