Mycronic’s PI series combines speed with accuracy when scanning paste prints.

Z-referencing, combined with sophisticated algorithms, ensures accurate measurement results. To achieve this, hundreds of reference points across the entire 3D field of view are cross-referenced. This technology filters out any warping of the printed circuit board. Using Mycronic’s proprietary MyPro software, the SPI can also be integrated with an AOI system. This enables boards to be inspected comprehensively, thereby avoiding the need for rework. A further advantage of the PI series is its low maintenance requirements and simple calibration.
